Description of Renovation:
The renowned boat builder John Cox, who has over 50 years of experience in using traditional methods of building boats, built "Woodpecker" for Mr Douglas Stuart whilst in the employment of Stanley &Thomas. The boat was built with a clinker construction using brazilian cedar planking on oak timbers and mahogany internal joinery. She has fixed pins for sculling and a skiff sail. The coxes seat has a lovely caned seat back and cushions.
